Mauri2Mana is a brand identity project developed by Rise Creative, a full-service agency based in Auckland, New Zealand, dedicated to collaborating with organisations that strive to create positive impact.

Mauri2Mana itself is an educational framework for both individuals and organisations, designed to protect, strengthen, and restore Mauri (life force), empowering people with the Mana to live vibrant and purposeful lives.

The brand identity draws on indigenous symbolism, integrating visual elements inspired by totem pole structures and Māori pono values to reflect its cultural depth and vision. I participated in several workshop sessions to deepen my understanding of the concept of Mauri, ensuring the final design would resonate authentically. My initial sketches explored different ways of combining the initials, which later evolved into a more meaningful and symbolic form.
